Adwoa Afreh

Adwoa Afreh brings collectivity to every piece of work that she does. Born in Ghana, her identity combines West African roots with growing up in inner city Chicago. Adwoa creates community everywhere she goes, including in Minnesota where she has called home for over a decade.

Passionate about equity work, Adwoa advocates for the perspectives not often considered in her everyday roles in the nonprofit sector. Her ability to build relationships across racial, class, and gender divides makes her a skilled facilitator within any intentional space. She is a proficient communicator with a variety of stakeholders and frequently translates the needs of constituents to decision-makers to create actionable steps.

Adwoa is fluent in Twi, Fante, Pidgin English, and English, with a passion for languages and lifelong learning.
